The Japanese government expressed appreciation to Rita Retnaningtyas, Indonesian nurses in hospitals Miyagi, who contributed to helping victims of the earthquake and tsunami in the country.
Award presented Japanese Ambassador to Indonesia Kojiro Shiojiri while attending Japanese language training for prospective migrant workers 104 nurses in Jakarta, Tuesday (03/22/2011).
"We on behalf of the Government of Japan would like to thank Rita Retnaningtyas BNP2TKI and particularly that part of Japan struggled to help tsunami-affected residents in Miyagi," said Shiojiri.
Rita Retnaningtyas (35) derived from Srondol Kulon village, Subdistrict Banyumanik, the city of Semarang, Central Java.
Rita worked as a nurse at the Miyagi National Hospital since 2009, sent by the National Board for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers (BNP2TKI) through intergovernmental cooperation programs of RI and Japan.
Shiojiri said Rita along with other nursing workers are willing to stay in the area near the earthquake and tsunami in Miyagi to perform a noble humanitarian social work.
According to him, in five prefectures (provinces) about Japan's earthquake-tsunami, namely Miyagi, Iwate, Aomori, Ibaraki, Fukushima and nurses there were 35 workers consisting of 11 patients and 24 nurses TKI TKI nursing homes.
All nurses in the five prefectures had survived the earthquake, including radiation from nuclear reactors in Fukushima. Most of the 35 workers there are also those who evacuated to areas far from the earthquake and nuclear radiation, while some people like Rita would still survive in Miyagi until now.
"Once again we extend our gratitude for the services and assistance in dealing with the victims," said Kojiro Shiojiri.
Meanwhile, Chief BNP2TKI Moh Jumhur Hidayat said Rita since the earthquake and tsunami in Japan continued to make contact with her husband, Bambang Wagiman (35) and his family in Semarang.
"Rita told his family that he and some friends TKI nurse and care worker in good health and still working as usual in Miyagi," he said.
TKI nurses in Japan are scattered in 45 prefectures as many as 686 people will continue to undergo placement program to complete.
The workers were placed since 2008-2010 for a three-year employment contract and salary 175,000 yen gain (TKI careworker) and 119000-200000 yen (TKI nurse) per month in accommodation provided outside the Japanese Government.
